According to estimates from the UN and World Bank, 56% of the global population are residing in urban areas in 2024. As a result, we understand we are in a transition of expectation when referring to outdoor space, as it’s now common for apartments and homes in urban areas to have limited access to outdoor areas. Our goal is to connect, educate and empower urban dwellers to use their outdoor space – a balcony perhaps – to begin growing food and/or plants until their hearts’ desire.
